Bentura WON'T Stop Hitting: Renegades fall to Clarinda 11-10 in series finale

JEFFERSON CITY -- The Renegades (0-3) fell to Clarinda (2-1) in a seven inning game to finish off their quick two game set.

Nathaniel Bentura continued his hot streak at the plate with two more home runs and the game winning single in the top of the seventh. Bentura finished a triple shy of the cycle.

Jeff City scored at least one run in each of the first five innings; erasing what was a six run deficit. The Renegades regained the lead on a Lincoln Orellana single in the bottom half of the fifth inning.

Jefferson City failed to score in each of the last two innings while Clarinda tallied one run in both the sixth and the seventh. The A's held on to win 11-10.

Tyler Robbins, Clayton Thrasher, Blaine Dunbar and Ethan Rackers all saw time on the bump for Jefferson City. Rackers suffered the loss.

Jefferson City is still looking for that elusive first win and will take on the Nevada Griffons at Vivion Field Monday at 7:00 p.m..
